The Bernoulli-Euler Society (BEG) promotes the exploitation and evaluation of the extensive sources related to the Bernoulli family and Leonhard Euler. It brings the life achievements of these important Swiss mathematicians and physicists closer to the public.

The Bernoulli-Euler Society promotes the public communication of the lifetime achievements of the Basel scholars as an invaluable cultural heritage of Switzerland that needs to be preserved. It supports the Bernoulli-Euler Center at the University of Basel. In addition, the society is committed to strengthening research into the history of science and promotes understanding of mathematics and the natural sciences.
